typical life --> having fun, working, and being frustrated (mostly with girls). Peace out yo.... or something. I'm sure you'll all be treated to more info at a later time

Well, it has certainly been a while since my last post. the end of the semester crap tends to do stuff like that.
SOAP BOX
Anyway, It's really crazy when I think that I have just completed 3/4ths of my college career. Amazing how fast (and long) its gone and how much I've matured. Such is life, it continues whether you take a pisspoor attitude towards it, or if you face it positively. To those of you who complain about 'happy' people, I would really like to find out how you define them. I consider myself a pretty happy person. How do I remain happy, its really quite simple, I choose to face what ever life throws at me head on and accept the consequences. More than this, I think it comes from the eternal perspective I try to take about my life. Oh no! The admin made a rule I don't like - waaaahhhh. That is one response, mine is usually to realize that it doesn't matter what rules are placed over me in the long run. If I feel they are too stifling, I can always find somewhere else to go. Some one walking around with a smile on their face is not necessarily oblivious to the world and the problems others face. I know a whole lot of what goes on, and believe it or not, experience my share of crap. Those of you who value cinical outlooks on life ought to realize that you have no idea what us "happy christians" have been through. We've just learned to deal with live in a more constructive manner than you.
CURRENT THOUGHTS
Anyway, I'm still stuck in texass for the next 6 days or so. I'm taking a two week course over the Book of Acts from Dr. Farrell (his last class, sadly). Dr. Farrell is a great person, who all christians could use as an example of the way christianity ought to be lived out. His classes rock, they are about my favorite ones, second only possibly to Woodring (another great guy). He is soft spoken, not boring (unless you choose to go in expecting to sleep). I could (and actually do, for this class) spend hours listening to him teach the new testament. Hopefully I'll get to the level he is at someday.
SUMMER PLANS
Anyway, I'm really excited about my summer plans. I've just finished lining up the first show for my band (with JT and Dave - see their links on the side of the page) May 30th. It will probably be short, but hopefully after this we can get more playing time. For all you guys going to be in Ohio at that time, go to Java Jo's in Berlin from 8pm to 10pm. We are definately going to put on a great show. I'm currently looking for a new guitar amp... anyone have one they want to offer to me?? Other than hitting up the band scene, I will be working with an awsome guy named Chad as a youth intern. I am really excited about that chance.
CONCERT OPPORTUNITES
Anyway, Does anyone want to hit up a concert May 31st somewhere in Illonois (I think)? Let me know if you do, we (JT and possibly Mary) are looking for about 2 more people.
MISC
Anyway, still no news on the romantic front.
Music running through my head: Its Ok by This Side of the Door
CONCLUSION
Anyway, I think that's about all I care to say. Thanks for reading.
