So, this past saturday we had a big training event for our volunteers in the Student Ministry i work for (grades 5-12). Went fairly well, we had about maybe 3/5 of our volunteers there. I wish there would have been more, but oh well. It was basically to get everyone on the same page as far a why we do what we do, and how we are accomplishing those goals. I was there from about 7:45-4:30 or so, so i thought that was a long day. Little did i know i would end up working at my brother's house moving a ton and a half of top soil for the next several hours. By the time i was done i was worn out. Fell asleep about 9:30 that night and didn't even move until about 8 the next morning.
Next week i head out to atlanta again, only this time i'm taking a few of my key volunteers with me to help them understand our vision. I'll be gone wed to sat... i'm only halfways looking fwd to it because justin is going and i can see getting bombarded with endless questions the entire drive down and back and i really have no desire to sit through that. ehh... o freakin well.
been working at New grounds the last few weeks. Its been fun. It is a fairly decent place to meet people my own age at times... people who i don't live with and work with so that is really nice.
and that is thee longest post i think i've ever made about my life. Enjoy it.
