Rather, the "narrow way" is the midline between two extremes, the built-in balance of biblical doctrine. Look at the Scriptures: Faith is balanced by works, God's love by his Wrath, God's mercy with his Justice, man's responsiblity with God's soveriegnty, the role of royal sons by that of obedient servants, death to self by life in the Spirit.
